There has to be someone else out there.
Who is frustrated to the point of tears at the amount of ignorance that has become acceptable in the world. Some other person who is crazy enough to believe that we can make a difference.
I feel lonely in my frustration. I know God is ever understanding and is always with me, I am not lonely in that way. But another human being with that passion and spark - someone willing to change the world with actions, words and most importantly - love. To accept physical discomfort through your actions because you know that you can never be comfortable in life doing nothing.
A team member. A friend. An ordinary radical. Are you out there?
This isn't some teenage "where's my soul-mate?" rant. This is a cry for anyone and everyone with a heart for gods children, our brothers and sisters.
We need to come together to shout through our actions, our freedom of speech, our prayers. To protest against the injustice that we are told to ignore out of guilt. To not just complain about the wrongs, but to search deep for a way to bring about the right.
If we can understand that changing the world doesn't involve just throwing money at the problem, we may get somewhere. Money is what "justifies" throwing people into poverty. Instead, if we give our lives and comfort to serve, opening our vunerable hearts - then the same love that saved the world 2000 years ago can continue today.
"we cannot do great things. we can only do small things with great love." - mother teresa.
